RELAXATION TAPES

This experimental video art series merges meditative footage from idyllic landscapes with the unexpected presence of Krzysztof Kononowicz’s voice — a cult figure of Polish internet folklore. By confronting the viewer with this dissonant pairing, the work poses open-ended questions about the nature of relaxation: What does it mean to feel relaxed? Why do certain stimuli soothe us, while others disturb? Can contradiction itself be a gateway to calm?
